Privacy policy

CreteWRX Alaska ("we") makes custom architectural concrete in Chugiak, Alaska. This policy covers WRX OS, the business app our owners and crew use at wrxos.cretewrxalaska.com, and the estimate pages and project questionnaires we send customers at quote.cretewrxalaska.com.

What we collect

• From customers: the name, company, address, email and phone number you give us so we can prepare an estimate, and the details of the work.
• When you fill in a project questionnaire: your answers and the photos, plans and files you add, and the date and time you send it with your IP address and browser type. Your answers are also kept in your browser on your device until you send them.
• When you view or accept an estimate online: the name you type, the option you choose, the date and time, and your IP address and browser type. We keep these as the record of what was agreed.
• From our own team: the email each person signs in with, and their time and job records.
• From our QuickBooks Online company, when connected: our list of accounts, so we can record our own expenses, invoices and payments there.
• Our Google Workspace account, when connected, lets WRX OS send estimates and confirmations from phil@cretewrxalaska.com. It can send email only; it can't read our mailbox.

How we use it

Only to run our business: to understand your project, prepare and send estimates, record acceptances, schedule and carry out the work, bill for it and keep our books.

We don't sell or rent personal information, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone except the service providers below, or when the law requires it.

Service providers

WRX OS runs on services that store or process information for us, under their own privacy terms: Cloudflare (hosting and sign-in), Notion (job and estimate records), Google Workspace (email) and Intuit QuickBooks Online (accounting).

How long we keep it

Records of accepted estimates are kept permanently as business records. Other information is kept as long as we need it for the work, our taxes and the law.

Security

Everything travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Our team signs in to WRX OS with a one-time code sent to their email. Keys for connected services are stored as encrypted secrets and are never shown in the app.

Each estimate or questionnaire link is a long random code that can't be guessed, but anyone who has the link can open it, so please don't share it.

Your choices

To see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, contact us. We'll do so unless we have to keep it, for example the record of an accepted estimate or our tax records.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
